Mugs start with a ball of stoneware clay, thrown on the potters wheel, handle pulled and applied, before bisque firing, decorating, glazing and second firing.

These mugs are being sold at reduced price as the interior was glazed in an opaque cream by mistake, I was trying to use up ends of glazes for these mugs. I had mistook the bucket of glaze for a transparent, and had used different transparent for exterior. However as Id thought I was using both transparent I hadn’t cleaned back glaze drips, these would have blended together fine. however as one is not transparent, there are opaque drips on some sections of the mug.
